Moo Hair – a new brand of natural ethical haircare, made in Scotland!

We would like to introduce you to the newest member of The Players’ Lounge Family! Suzie and her family have spent the last two years developing these natural hair products and we couldn’t be prouder!
We are excited that Moo Hair has arrived in the salon and we have put together this blog post to let you in on why Moo Hair is the best thing to happen to your head.
A massive emphasis has been put on creating products that are ethically and naturally sourced. Moo Hair products are all vegan, palm oil free and cruelty free, and only glass bottles have been used along with glass jars with 100% recyclable aluminium lids. The labels are printed on recycled paper using vegetable based inks!
Another great bonus of these products is that 5% of the profits made from the sale of the products go to charity.
Moo Hair uses only the purest natural ingredients to ensure that the products are kind to your skin and to our planet. They have worked closely with their suppliers to ensure that only ones who share the brands values are used.
Marula Oil is packed with antioxidants, essential fatty acids, and amino acids which helps keep hair soft, supple and moisturised. The oil used is Fairtrade, and sourced from a women’s cooperative in Madagascar.
Islandic Moss is most commonly used as a demulcent and so is excellent for sensitive skin. It is responsibly harvested between May & October, and is one of the purest algae on the planet, growing only in pure, clean air!
Sea Salt combined with these highly hydrating ingredients helps to soften hair, as well as add texture and volume.
The products are all paraben and sulphate free, with the clear aim of being luxury salon-quality products with no impact on the environment.
The range of products offer something for everyone & every hair type. All are gentle on your hair and skin. Check the full line on the website, and next time you’re in the salon ask your barber to use the products on your hair – we think they’re all fantastic, and we’d love for you to see for yourself!
